It's in depth and an easy read as the chapters are short. The author, Eva Ferguson, teaches Adlerian psychology at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. She is very, very passionate about Adlerian principles! I'm currently taking the class with her. She's actually the daughter of Rudolf R. Dreikurs, who wrote much of the literature on Adlerian psychology. This is just one of several books she's written.
This was just a quick overview of Adlerian Therapy. It didn't cover the information in-dept.
Clear. Dense. Succinct. Informative.
I read this short book as a supplement to my textbook for my theories of counseling class and I found it very useful for better understanding the Adlerian Theory which is based on the work of Alfred Adler. It is very reader friendly.
A very concise and excellent review for experienced Adlerians. However, all students of Individual Psychology will benefit from this book.
This small little book is a remarkable introduction to Adlerian Psychology. Don't let it's size fool you, it has a lot of depth to it.
I was surprised because this book is very short in length. This book is a summarization of Adlerian theory, and is easy to understand, especially if the reader has a general knowledge of the subject, such as a Psychology major. It is written by an associate who worked with Adler and who helped to further develop Adler's theories after his untimely death at a young age.
